About Us
At St. Matthew's UMC, we recognize that there is more to worshipping God than just attending church on Sunday. We believe that it is our mission to help families (of all shapes and sizes) live and grow in their love of God. In addition to our many ministries, we also want to develop a Family Life Center in each home.
We understand that everyone worships in different ways. We have a variety of Sunday School classes and groups. Many of these do meet during the traditional Sunday morning times, but others meet during the week or at night. St. Matthew's also hosts Wednesday Night Live where people can enjoy fellowship and a meal. After the meal, children will meet in their age-appropriate groups for choir practice and a lesson. Youth will meet in small groups for Bible study and adults will have the choice to attend Bible study or a praise worship.

We believe in God the Father Almighty, maker of heaven and earth; And in Jesus Christ his only Son our Lord; who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, Born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead, and buried; the third day he rose from the dead; he ascended into heaven, and sitteth at the right hand of God the Father Almighty; from thence he shall come to judge the quick and the dead.
We believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen
