Barbara Berry, Office Manager/Director of Communications

Barbara Berry serves as St. Matthew’s Director of Communications and Office Manager. She is married to Jim Berry, and they have two children, J.Paul and Jill.  J. Paul is a teacher at Ridgeland High School, and Jill is in the 10th grade at Madison Central High School. The Berry family also includes Max, a mixed-breed Chihuahua; Gracie, a yellow lab; and a cat named Winnie. 

 

The Berry family joined St. Matthew’s in February 1996, and Barbara started working as the Church Secretary in August of the same year. As our staff has grown at St. Matthew’s, Barbara’s position has also changed over the years. Her primary job responsibilities include putting together the St. Matthew’s newsletter, sending out a twice weekly “@ St. Matthew’s” email, and maintaining the church calendar of events and building usage.
