Cub Scouts, Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts

St. Matthew’s, like many United Methodist churches, is a strong supporter of scouting. We sponsor Cub Scout Pack 15, the largest pack in the Andrew Jackson Council, as well as Boy Scout Troop 15. We also provide a meeting place for several local Girl Scout troops. These programs emphasize leadership, learning, character building and family activities. In addition, scouting provides a way to plug children into the church, with programs like the Cub Scouts' God and Country Program.
