Sunday Morning Ministries

Sundays are a special time for our children at St. Matthew's. We offer worship services at 8:30 a.m. and 11 a.m. and Sunday school at 9:45 a.m. During the 11 a.m. worship service,children ages 2 through kindergarten attend Children's Church, where they learn about the Bible through arts and crafts, stories and other kid-friendly activities. A nursery is provided for babies and toddlers.

In our Sunday school classes and during Children's Church, we are currently using FaithWeaver curriculum, which is designed with age-appropriate lessons for ages infant to adults. Research proves the greatest influences on faith development are the conversations that take place in the home. FaithWeaver makes it easy for families to come together and grow in faith because everyone studies the same Bible story, in age-appropriate ways, each week. FaithWeaver equips families to talk about and apply their faith together every day. The lessons are based on stories directly from the Bible. In the span of three years, the children will receive a complete overview of the Bible.
