Educational Ministries
MMO / Preschool, licensed by the state of Mississippi, is open to children from infant to age 4. School Hours are 8:30 am to 11:30 am. The MMO / preschool program:
- Establishes a warm, loving, environment in which each child is given the opportunities to develop a sense of self-worth and to develop his/her own unique gifts.
- Provides each child with a natural transition from home to school while developing skills to meet new challenges through the use of age-level appropriate activities and materials.
- Has a commitment to excellence reflecting the highest values, the best of care, and the expectation that staff members exemplify Christian ideals in their behavior towards and relationships with each child.
- Believes that play is fundamental to each child's learning and to his/her social and emotional development.
- Has a commitment to good stewardship in the areas of space utilization, fiscal management, materials use, and human resources.
Family Ministry is designed to motivate, educate, and provide support for families in our congregation and community. This is done through specific studies and church-wide fellowship events.
Children's Ministry nurtures the faith of children by providing a child-friendly Community of Faith where children can experience God's Love, Grace, and Hope. The Children's Ministry encompasses infants through sixth grade students and provides age-appropriate opportunities to nurture the faith of all God's children.
