Lay Involvement Ministries
Leisure Ministry provides fellowhip and physical exercise through leisure programs and team sports. This ministry seeks to offer different activities which allow all ages to participate and interact in a Christian environment.
Stewardship Ministry seeks to help people understand the importance of good stewardship, which includes giving of our time, talents, and gifts. By implementing our annual Stewardship Campaign, this committee promotes the financial support of the church as well as the many volunteers that are needed to help our programs run efficiently.
United Methodist Men is a lay-led, pastor-supported man-to-man mentoring ministry. It is designed to enhance each person's effectiveness to Disciple and Serve in his name. The men's ministry is devoted to helping men, both young and old, be Godly men whose Christian character, witness, and families bring honor and glory to God.
United Methodist Women is a community of women whose purpose it is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative, supportive fellowship; and to expand concepts of missions through participation in the global ministries of the church.
Evangelism Ministry provides hands-on opportunity for members of our congregation to show the love and kindness of Jesus Christ to those who are seeking a deeper relationship with Christ. Each week members of our visitation team visit those who have attended our worship service for the first time.
Photography Ministry documents all of the events in the life of the church through photography, presentations, slide shows, and bulletin boards. |
