Family Worship Opportunities - 8:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m.
Families are invited to worship as a family in all three of our worship services. A traditional service is offered at both 8:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. in the Sanctuary. Also at 11:00 a.m. a more contemporary service is offered in Hart Hall (gym area). Children are invited to pick up a blue worship bag outside both worship spaces that are filled with worksheets that correspond with the days message, Sunday School take home sheets and information for parents. Please be sure to return these bags to the stands following the services so they can be filled with fresh materials for the next Sunday. During each service there is a Children's Moment offered where the children come to the front for a special time. Children's Church is offered at 11:00 a.m. for children in preschool. Parents are asked to please walk their children to the preschool hallway at the end of the Children's Moment. Children who are K-5 or older are expected to remain in worship. Service as acolytes in our 11:00 a.m. sanctuary service is encouraged for our children in 3rd grade and above. Trainings are held in the fall and spring.
Children's Church - 11:00 a.m.
Children from 2 years of age thru Preschool age are invited to participate in this ministry. We ask that children who are not potty trained remain in the nursery so they can receive adequate care. Children are dismissed to Children's Church after the Children's Moment in each service. Parents walk their children to the designated rooms. Parents are asked to please pick-up their children from Children's Church as soon as worship ends. These rooms are staffed by volunteers and we need to honor their service and time. Once your child is a regular participant of Children's Church you will be added to the rotation. This insures that everyone has an opportunity to worship and serve.
Sunday School - 9:45 a.m.
We are beginning our third year with Deep Blue. This is the awe-inspiring resource for children which includes adventure, exciting stories, science experiments, arts and crafts, animated video storytelling, and active games-all combined into a living–faith experience that will help children discover what it means to be a disciple of Jesus Christ today!. Our goal is that as children grow in mind and body, they also grow in heart and soul. We want our children to realize their faith goes with them as they grow. Our hope is for our children to know the stories of the Bible by heart when they leave the Children’s Ministry.
