Advent is one of the oldest and holiest seasons of the Christian church. But what does Advent look like today? What does Advent look like in a world that seems to be coming apart? What would it look like for us to recapture the spirit of Advent, the spirit of Hope, of Peace, of Love, of Joy at this moment in the world?

We need to recapture the beauty of these truths. And our world needs us to live them out. Join us each Sunday for worship as we Recapture Advent and join us for all these exciting events!

St. Nick Sunday

Birthday Gift for Christ is one of our most meaningful Christmas ministries. Come by the church and pick a green bag with the food items listed. On Sunday, December 5th, we'll all bring our donations of food for which will go to our adopted families.

Cookies With Santa

One of our favorite events is Cookies with Santa. Come bring your family and friends for this time of food, fun, and Santa! It will be Sunday, December 5th from 1:30 p.m. until 3:30 p.m., and the first 30 minutes will be "mask required."

“Joy” Christmas Cantata

You don't want to miss our Christmas Musical, "Joy," presented by the Sanctuary Choir. Come hear and worship with these familiar carols, in a new way! Join us Sunday, December 12th - 8:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. We will have No INTERSECTION Service.

Birthday Gift for Christ Pack Party

A brand new event! Come on Wednesday, December 15th, starting at 5:00 p.m. for our pack party! There will be music, a photo booth, food, and fellowship as we pack our food and gifts for our Birthday Gift for Christ families as we get ready to make deliveries!

Christ's Cupboard Christmas

On Saturday, December 18th, we'll fan out across the metro area to deliver food to friends that could need a meal, a visit, or just a warm word. In this day of service, our church is the hands of feet of Jesus as we seek to serve our neighbors. We will start at 8:00 a.m. for cooks & packers and 10:30 a.m. for delivery.

Birthday Gift for Christ Delivery Day

We'll gather our gifts and food for the families that we are serving on Saturday, December 18th, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. We'll take these gifts as an example of Christ's love and help be a blessing to so many in this season!

Christmas Party at Trinity

Also, on Saturday, December 18th at 10:00 a.m. we will travel to Forrest, MS for a Christmas party with our friends at Trinity Hispanic Mission.

Blue Christmas

As joyous as this season is for many of us, for others, it is not as happy. Each year we offer a Blue Christmas Service for those who are having their "first" Christmas without a loved one. Or maybe their "twentieth." For those who find this season especially hard, we'd love for you to join us on Sunday, December 19th 6:00 p.m.

Christmas Eve Worship Services

We so excited to have our traditional Christmas Eve Services on Friday, December 24th at 4:00 p.m. & 6:00 p.m. Come join us for the Christmas story, for candlelight communion, and for the beauty of Silent Night. We can't wait to worship with you!

First Sunday after Christmas Day

On Sunday, December 26th, 2021 - 10:00 a.m., instead of our normal worship schedule, we will have ONE worship service. We can't wait to worship together as one church family!
