Kaye and her family have been members of St. Matthew's since January, 1990.  She joined the Staff the next year, serving and offering Christ together with the sweet young church which was founded as a caring church for growing Christians.
 
Kaye is certified in Evangelism and Christian Education through the United Methodist Church (United Theological Seminary).  She completed training in the Academy for Spiritual Leadership and also the Academy for Spiritual Direction and Spiritual Formation in the Congregation through the Louisiana Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church.  She says that no two days are ever the same in her vocation, but one thing is for sure:  God does show up!  And, it's always a beautiful sight to experience God's many forms and faces. 
 
Married since 1969 to Brack, her high school sweetheart, they raised two terrific children and are doting grandparents to one exceptionally phenomenal (ahem!) granddaughter.  Time with family and friends is especially dear to Kaye.  She delights in porch time, the mountains, the beach, cooking, taking long walks, traveling, and reading - anything by Wendy Miller, Henri Nouwen, Anne Voskamp, Sue Monk Kidd, Terry Hershey, or Anne Lamott.
