Our Key Doctrines
We affirm the Nicene and Apostles' Creeds as the foundation of orthodox and historic Christianity. As a church within the Wesleyan Tradition, we affirm the Articles of Religion and the Confession of Faith as found within the United Methodist Book of Discipline.
Who is God? - We believe that God is Holy (1 Peter 1: 16), Love (1 John 4:16), Triune (Matthew 28: 19) and fully revealed to us in the person of Jesus Christ (Colossians 1: 15).

What is Salvation? A a church that is deeply formed by Wesleyan theology, we hold to what is often called "the scripture way of salvation." This is Wesley's understanding that salvation begins with God (prevenient grace) is through faith alone (justifying grace), but does not end at conversation, but must continue with sanctification (sanctifying grace).

What is the Bible? We hold the Bible to be God's holy, inspired, authoritative and revealed truth. It points to all truth, contains everything needful and necessary for salvation. It is our rule and guide for life and through reading it we know truth and are brought into deeper relationship with God.

What is the Church? We believe the church to be the Body of Christ here upon the earth. We affirm that the church is one (united), holy (set apart), catholic (universal, open to all nations), and apostolic (founded upon the teachings of the Apostles as seen in the Nicene and Apostles' Creeds).

What are the Sacraments and the Means of Grace? We hold to Holy Communion and Baptism as Sacraments within the church, whereby God gives us grace. We also affirm reading scripture, prayer, fasting and spiritual disciplines, as well as conferencing (Christian community and accountability) as "means of grace." Through these things God gives us grace and draws us closer to Himself.

Our Key Values
Invite. When we speak of inviting, there is an element involving inviting others to worship, yes, but it is deeper than that. We are to invite people into community. Worship. Small Groups. Sunday School. But even more than that. We are to be incubators of relationship, no matter where we find ourselves.

Grow. We believe that we are called to grow deeper in our faith as part of our very salvation. We believe that the scriptural methods of growth are going to be through Discipleship, primarily through the Means of Grace (as an individual and through the community) and through service through the Church and world.

Go. We believe as Christians we are called to GO to all the world and proclaim the Good News of Jesus. Through evangelism, where we tell people about what Jesus has done in our lives, and how they can know our Savior and through missions, where we serve the least of these (Matthew 25: 31-46). In these ways we tell others about Jesus and we live our lives for Jesus.
